ABOUT THE ROLE
A private international family is seeking an experienced, emotionally intelligent nanny to support their twin boys (almost 14) during a month-long summer visit to California with their father.
This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned caregiver who enjoys working with teenagers and can provide steady, grounded support while traveling with the family throughout California and Hawaii.
The ideal candidate is warm, adaptable, highly professional, and experienced supporting neurodivergent adolescents. This position requires discretion, maturity, and the ability to build genuine rapport.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide day-to-day support, supervision, and companionship for two teenage boys
Create structure, consistency, and calm throughout the summer
Support executive functioning, organization, and emotional regulation
Drive the boys to activities, outings, appointments, and adventures
Comfortably drive a large SUV or truck (Ford Raptor)
Travel alongside the family throughout California and Hawaii
Balance proactive engagement with giving the family space when appropriate
Serve as a positive, dependable, and emotionally intelligent presence throughout the engagement
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Significant experience supporting adolescents with ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and executive functioning challenges
Valid driver's license and excellent driving record
Comfortable driving a large vehicle (Ford Raptor)
Authorized to work in the United States
Fluent in English
Able and willing to travel throughout the duration of the assignment

COMPENSATION & ACCOMMODATIONS
Private accommodations will be provided throughout the engagement, including a private bedroom and bathroom. All travel expenses, flights, lodging, and meals while traveling with the family will be covered.
Compensation starts at $50–$55/hour DOE, with overtime paid in accordance with California household employment laws. Based on an anticipated schedule of approximately 70 hours per week, estimated total compensation for the engagement is $18,000–$20,000+ depending on experience and final hours worked.
An NDA will be required.
