Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant – UHNW Family | Hillsborough, CA
Position Overview
A fun-loving, warm, and active family in Hillsborough is seeking a highly organized, discreet, and experienced UHNW nanny/family assistant to join their household. They are looking for someone who is young at heart, playful, and who will foster creativity while maintaining professionalism. This role requires a proactive, flexible individual with exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
While the role is based in California, the family is open to relocating the right candidate and welcomes applicants from outside the Bay Area.
Responsibilities
Active Childcare
Care for two school-age children (6 and 8), including food, sleep, exercise, schedules, and activities
Transport children to and from school and extracurriculars
Provide care when children are sick or on weekends (flexibility is key)
Assist with homework
Manage children’s laundry
Occasionally travel with the family
Supervise swimming or be available to watch the children in the pool as needed
Cooking and Light Housekeeping
Grocery shopping
Food prep for the family
Cleaning up and tidying (housekeepers are present 3x/week)
Take out trash when housekeepers are not in
Support with additional household tasks as requested
Family Assistance
Manage personal schedules, including appointments, travel, and events
Run errands such as shopping, dry cleaning, and gift procurement
Book camps, tutors, and other activities for the children
Assist in sourcing tutors, coaches, or other resources
Confidential Matters
Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion
Maintain strict confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a high-level nanny, preferably in UHNW households
Energetic, engaging, and fun-loving approach to childcare
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
Clear written and verbal communication
Proficient in Google Suite and related software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
CPR certified (or willing to certify—family will cover cost)
TrustLine Certified (or willing to certify—family will cover cost)

Schedule
The nanny will work a flexible, rotating schedule alongside a second long-term nanny to provide full-week coverage. Hours may shift depending on the family’s travel, custody schedule, and evolving needs. Flexibility to stay late or adjust as needed is essential.
~44 hours/week (Sun–Wed), alternating with a second long-term nanny
Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Monday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Please note: The family may transition to a 5-2-2-5 ROTA schedule later in the year.
Flexibility is key in this role—a willingness to occasionally arrive early or stay late on scheduled days is both valued and appreciated.

$45–$50/hr, based on experience
